can u mount the power supply for strobes under the hood in a weather tight custom box.
thinking of making a stainless box with topp to mount strobe power supply in and mounting under the hood on top of the fender well. drilling some holes for wirers and using grouments to keep water out.
is this feasible or a bad idea????

Its not a horrible idea, but Idealy it should be placed inside the truck.

It depends on the power supply and who makes it. Some of them can be mounted in the engine compartment as long as it's encapsulated. Most Whelen and Sound Off power supplies are weather proof, but it definitely wouldn't hurt to make some sort of box to cover it. It will only prolong the life of the power supply.
