Motor case cracked

    Pulling my plow out to get ready for winter and noticed the top of the motor is cracked, or at least think it's motor( flostat )? Didn't see anywhere where I can buy just the cover piece so thinking have to buy new motor?

    Yea pretty sure you need a motor. What's the insides look like?

    Haven't opened it up yet, actually have not even looked at how to remove/open.

    That motor looks old enough to have earned retirement.

    Are they hard to change or is it as easy as looks? Looks to easy

    Two bolts and the wires.

    There not bad as long as the bolts don't brake

    From the looks of corrosion those bolts might break in the manifold. I have extracted many. Suggest a new motor shaft seal and a full filter and fluid service.
