For your seasonal customers, what do you consider your "season"? December through March, December through April, November through April, November through March, etc...

I may not be from MN but it is only about a 1/4 across the river from my house. I say my season is December through April.

Here in Buffalo NY I define my contracts:
"1st snowfall fall 2002 (or signing of contract) through last snowfall Spring 2003".

Never know when we will get a good one in April, but it limits me so I don't get stuck plowing in July....

Just like the NYS lottery saying "HEY YA NEVER KNOW"...

My contracts run from Nov 1 thru March. This year I was still doing fall clean-up in mid November. It seems the leaves fell late this year. I usually have my cleanups finished the first week in Nov. and have all of my properties marked with stakes and snow fences up by the second week.
