    Before I google it and have to sift through the endless PDF's out there, I thought Id ask here;

    Whats the process for adjusting lowering speed on my 8' MM2 (Storm Gaurd)??

    Turn the quill in a little at a time till you get the rate you like.

    Quill is on the top corner of the valve block between the hose fittings and the vent, Slot for straight screw driver.

    Thanks!
    Thats what I thought, but I wanted to be sure. So, is it "in" for slower? or "out" for slower?

    In, 1/4 turn at a time.

    I had figured mine was coming down too hard and I adjusted it the other day to slow down the fall rate, but then got to thinking......how fast or slow should it be dropping? Is it personal preference or is there any other reason for not wanting it to slam into the ground?
