Here's a few pics of my snow removal equipment for the '06-'07 snow plowing season.

    The equipment lineup:

    1) 2006 Kawasaki Prairie 360 4X4 ATV with 54" Cycle Country Plow, Warn 2.5ci winch, and tire chains-Primary snow plowing/removal machine.
    2) 1977 Gravely 817 Utility tractor, 16HP Onan engine, with 44" 2-stage sbowblower, tire chains, and weights-Secondary (backup) snow blowing machine.
    3) 1987 Toro 521 snowblower, 5HP Tecumseh snow king engine-Secondary (backup) snow blowing machine.

I had them all out this weekend, to get ready for plowing, and figured I'd share a few pics!

Here they are...what do you think?:waving:

    I'm ready for a blizzard!wesport

Dude...Get some new tires on that Quad.

I have some mud lites I use in the summer. I refuse to use them in the winter as, I don't want to waste tread.

I did try them...and OMG, I could plowed in 2wd.

    Not Really.

The best depends on the application your using it for.

    For Snow-
    1. Outlaws MST's
    2. Vampires
    3. 589's

    Mud-
    1. Outlaws
    2. Vampires
    3. 589's

    Rock Climbing
    1. 589's (Excellent and strong ply for sidewall)
    2. Outlaws

stuffdeer... you put the 589's under all catagorey's so you basically just proved cory's point!

Thanks for the tire recommendation, when I need new tires, I'll get another set of rims, and put some mudlites on them (and standard tires for plowing).

Thanks for the comments guys...keep 'em coming!

I plowed with it for the second part of last season, and I really didn't get too cold at all! since the engine is right below me, I actually stay pretty warm. The quad is great because I can see EVERYTHING around me, the visibility it sooooo much better than with a truck (though I will be getting a truck w/plow for next year, once I get my liscense).

If you're talking to me, it's Matt, if you're talking to stuffdeer, it's Mike, and if you're talking to mcw, it's Mike.

The stock tires aren't really that bad IMO.

You need a license to plow with a truck now? What has this country come to?
