I am putting a Mini Bar on my Silverado
What I want to know is could I wire it right to my Box light on the back of my cab ?
Then I could use the factory on/off switch ?

if you have the plow prep package, you have to fish the wire to the switch out of the ceiling. You will have to drop part of the driverside headliner and remove the upper brake light. What I did was got a metal coat hanger and slid it thru the brake light opening to the drivers side, it may take 2 people to do it. The wire should be coiled up above the driver. Then I just drilled a small hole on the edge of the light lens and ran the wire to where I needed it and sealed the hole.
