I am thinking about changing cabs & engines on my '94 f350 460 auto 4wd to a '97 f250 7.3 auto 2wd. My question is, is the floor tunnel on the 7.3 2wd high enough to clear 4wd trans & transfer case? I had a '92 f250 5.8 auto 4wd that I put a '95 f150 auto 2wd cab with a body lift. The floor tunnel on the '95 f150 2wd was noticeably lower/flatter than any 4wd, however the '97 f250 7.3 2wd looks quite a bit bigger/taller, like it might work? I've looked quickly at LMC, they don't seem to sell that floor section, only floor pans. I don't think the original floor tunnel on my '94 is worth swapping.
