I was wondering if any Meyers touch pad control owners have ever experienced this:
When pad is touched L or R (finger removed) plow swings left to right repeatily until truck stalls ( 45 seconds) and windsheald wipers go on. Sounds like plow motor in on while plow swings

Any insight into why this is happening and how to fix it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Did it start suddenly? Look for pinched or burned wires. The Plow's control system is independent of the vehicles wiring. the windshield wipers shouldn't have any connection to the plow controls or control wiring. Please let us know what happens, Very interested in the outcome. a very strange problem

tjmahl, Did you paint your mailbox blue?

I don't think that feature would operate, with the standard touch pad control.
    Have you tried another control?

Just a question but is the hand controller wired into the fuse panel that works the wiper motor????? Try plugging into a different fuse.
