I just picked up a hoop and e60 pump and another plow this morning bought it mainly for plow bracket. I went ahead and bought it all even though the bracket does not look like 17111 but I can fab back braces. He had it on a 04 2500 according to him. he said it bolt on with one tow hook bolt on each side and one hole in bottom of the frame. Then the 2" metal bands go up to the side of the frame. Did maybe the first set of these brackets not use the square tube or has someone already modified the old body style.

Go to the Meyer site and download the install instructions. What you have there looks somewhat fatigued and modified. But not in a correct fitting way.

I have been to the Meyers site and seen what the 17111 looks like but I was seeing if this could of been a older mount before they ran the 2 box tubing braces back to the crossmember. buy the time I am done it will be overbuilt I am not buying the 800 dollar 17111 bracket I didn't pay that for another plow and the hoop with a e60.

And since I will be using mount and hoop on my 03 k3500 dually do you still use plow lights. He removed the headlight brackets and lights from the hoop years ago said on these trucks there was never a need for them since the truck headlights always shined above plow fine. Anybody else not run the headlights on the hoop?

I also am looking to see a picture of how you notched your lower air dam for the tube mount.

Here is a couple pictures of what I got done yesterday and one shot after I blasted it. I am going to final weld it all this morning and get to painting it. I am going to try to locate some 2x2 square today for the back bracing that goes back to the cross member.

Well finished sand blasting and got it painted and mounted today and picked up some 3/8 angle and 2x2 today to finish up. I got this done tonight and got it painted to bolt on in morning.

I am not sure were I am going to mount or what to do with slick stick control yet do to would like to switch to pistol grip eventually. Also not sure were I want to mount the power switch to turn on power to plow at.
