HI I recently purchased a used Meyer MDII C-8 plow and there is some confusion even among the dealers as to what carton I need to mount it on my 2000 Chevy 2500 Silverado. Can someone tell me if I need part 17119 or 17139. I'm hoping I can use the 17139 because they have that in stock but they think I need the 17119 Can someone tell me for sure? Thanks,
    Matthew

17119 is for the earlier "classic" body style

    17139 is for 2003 - later GMT800

    You should need a 17120 kit for your 2500 : http://ww2.meyerproducts.com/upload/forms/1-755.pdf

This is all off of the top of my head as I am not near my own laptop right now , please double check.

OK, in looking at the installation diagram for the 17139 and the 17120 I can see no difference in the parts just the numbers, can you tell me the difference? Is my truck considered the "newer" body style? I'll see if they have the 17120 in stock. Thanks for the help so far.

The parts in the pictures will look identical , only difference in the 99-02 and 03-later frame is where the bumper brackets mount to the front of the frame horn.

Yes , your truck is considered "new body style"

You can use a 17139 kit on your 2500 , it might require a slight tweek around the aformentioned bumper mounting bracket but it will work.

I listed the 17120 kit as it is the listed correct kit for your 2000 Chevy K2500

Sounds good, thank you very much for your help, the dealer has the 17120 in stock and its actually substantially cheaper than either the 17119 or 17139. Thanks again
