meyer e47 question

    suprise snow on the way this afternoon, an i just found out we have a busted wire one the red cylinoid. Can i switch out the caseing with a spare green.

    It may be a stupid question, but i don't know enough about this stuff to know if the color wire is just so you hook it up right or if it realy matters.


    and yes i know this is pose to be in repair, just needed a quick anwser.

    swap them. they are the same.

    The different wire colors on the large coils are simply for identification purposes, nothing more.

    thanks,

    i was able to steel one off a friends spare pump, but my dealer said they were different. guess i'll try and find out.

    crimp a terminal end on the broken wire. use a short sheet metal screw and run the screw into the coil where the wire broke off. quick fix
