Meyer e-47 variances ?

    I have recently picked up 2 e-47 power units one is definatly older than the other but the more recent pump has an acorn but on the side block under the b and c coils and under that mount there appears to be an adjustment valve , the older unit doesn't have this , can anyone shed some light on this for me , only have experience with western I'm completely green to meyer setups any info would be appreciated

    One with nut has adjustable crossover relief the other has a fixed crossover relief.
