meyer drain plug

    i have an e47 i was changing the oil and went to tight the plug up and the inside pf the unit is stripped can i re thread it my brother put a rubber plug with a wing nut dont know how much pressure is there i tryed to call meyers but the have no idea what size the threads are any suggestions and i really dont want to spend a lotta cash on base

    would you have any idea what size those threads are inside

    I don't remember. I can check into it but the best bet would be to take the plug down to the parts store and they will match it up.

    my brother fabbed a plug with a wing nut its a tight seal i have it back together and its working fine there isnt alot of pressure runing through the base sump
