    Hello,
I have a md75 that's been great for 5 yrs. all of a sudden I go to plow and when I try to lift plow it turn to the left. Everything else works, I just can raise it, it goes left when I try. Worked fine a few days ago. Anyone else ever experience this? Any suggestions? Thanks

5 years old here and intermittant issues just in the last month.

I had the connectors out front to the drivers side of the blade. Moved them to top of sub frame and seems to be working now. Do a search here as they use a cage connector??? and pins may come out. So if you had it off then back on that might be the issue.

I emailed support and they suggested a broken wire in the plow side harness. Mine was losing power alltogther no left right or lift. I suspect one of the large pins is where mine is flaky.

sounds like the lift solenoid (I think it's the orange wire) is not working, could be a wire, the solenoid or the controller. The default (just motor) is left, does it go right?

Everything else work as it should. When hit up to raise plow it does not raise just moves it to the left.

I would try to clean it first, check out the trouble shooting guide in the tech section on snowdoggs web site.

Agree with remove and clean- look for corrosion-
The part is actually called a coil in the parts list on line- part number is 1615138

Last week I put a emergency parts list together and will be ordering parts soon.

    1 each-
    HPU relay- #88 16169410
Coil #66 16151318 (3 used on left, right and lift)
    Lift Cylinder Hose #72 16153100
    Angle Cylinder hose- #73 16152110
    Hydraulic fluid-
2 short heavy duty HD ratchet straps-
Dedicated Harbor Freight tools for changing the above.

left does not use a coil (just motor) coils are used for up, down and right.

Which one do I replace if lifting is the issue?

the one with the orange wire, hold the up button and see if the coils is magnetized using a wrench or screwdriver.

    Kudos to Central Parts Warehouse!
Local dealer wanted $105 + tax for two hoses and coil.
CPW shipped to my door under $60

I would love to give the business locally but double the price??
