Manual trans oil

    I need to know what type of trans oil to use. I have a mint shape( only 30000 miles),1989 GM single axle, 5 speed,2 speed rear end.12000 frt,21000 rr.366 4barrel.I dont have a manual,also dont know the maker of the tranny. I have 75/90 shell synthetic, if that is ok. thanks

    That should be fine.You can find out what tranny you have though from it's tag,usually it will be somewhere on the top cover.You can easily get a new manual from Helms,GM's supplier.
