Looking for salt spreader door covers pictures!

    I recently purchased a new spreader but the covers are on back order!

    So I decided to build some metal doors for it to 1) increase carrying capacity 2) keep it dry

    let see what you guys have done for some ideas

    I was thinking of building a A-frame with two doors on hinges.

    I have 2x10s around the edge of mine and i use a canvas tarp for a cover. metal doors sound like a lot of work and a pain to open/close after you load.

    yup. a tarp and boards to raise the sides.

    I wanted to avoid using a tarp!

    I like the idea of the plastic doors on some of the new ones and I thought I could make that!
