    I never thought I would ever see a snowblower and think, Whoa! Overkill.
    I wonder what kind of gas mileage she gets.

    When I was a kid I can remember the Illinois DOT having one similiar but hand 2 spouts on it instead of one. They would use it to blow the drifts and snow piles back along the highways, mainly the north south roads. Over New years back in '79 that was the only truck that could open up highway 40 cause they had drifts of 7-8' covering most of route 40. I can remember being snowed in for almost a week with that blizzard. I haven't seen IDOT use a blower like that since the early 80's though. probably don't even have them anymore.
