does anyone lock up the frame guides on your Ultramount? They seem to be disapearing quick around here. I'm trying to find a good way to lock them to the truck. I was thinking maybe welding two hooks, one on the guide, one on the truck plow frame, then putting a padlock through

Or maybe finding some cable to replace the cotter pins and locking them.

    Any ideas?

my advice to you is to takw the 15 seconds it takes to take them off the truck, and throw them in the cab....Thats the beauty of the system. its quick and easy.

that would be fine and dandy if they wern't always iced up, and hard to remove. So if I have to pop my plow off for an emergency (I do emergency horse transport, etc...) I don't have 5 minutes to fight with them and will probably forget later.

It's far easier if I could just leave them on all season.
