    Looking good!

Your track machine is the ticket dealing with the salt ramp. Thumbs Up

Can you fit your entire years supply in that bin?

Yes, the track machine feels more stable, and goes up the pile much easier, in theory should compress the salt less as well, just not a big fan of all the salt in the tracks....

We go through several times that much salt a year, we are just taking the rest of our quota from this year so that we can re-up for 100% + whatever increase they will allow for next year.

Good stuff! Any idea how many yards you can fit in there?

There was about 560 tons in there when I took the video and we got around 88 more after that today. I'll take another video when its "full". We are looking into a 40x80 pole building to increase covered storage space

Do what we do, build another bin right next to it. Then another one behind it, and so on....

Then stuff 'em to top. There's no such thing as too much salt.

:::Except when Defcon applies it with his International::: :dizzy: :gunsfiring:

I personally don't see it being cheaper for next season, so maybe better than money in the bank??? I think the best we can hope for is the price staying the same.....

I expect it to be the same cost as the start of this past winter. There's really no reason for it not be...unless the mines and middlemen just want to gouge everyone. The real problem was distribution issues, not the speculation that the main salt supplies were low.

What do you use for paving in front of those bins?

I seem to recall a pic of some gray-haired, pony-tailed guy standing in front of this bin that was posted once before.

I believe he was saluting us all. :salute:
