Liquid Calcium Chloride Used AloneI For De-Ic

    I am trying to figure out if I can de-ice with LCC, I understand anti- icing with LCC is fine, but if you go to some other sites, they say that for de-icing liquid will not work without salt. What's the deal. Go to meltsnow.com or Middlesex to confirm. Thanks Bill

    LCC does a fine job melting a trace to 1/2" of snow no problem. It helps if you have traffic on the lot and a little sun real helps but it will melt without either of these but it just takes a little time. It works great after plowing to take the shine and slick spots off the lots.

    Its not salt since it has very little residual, is slower to react but as salt prices are up and availability is tougher it is a option
