I have 93 ford f350 The plow is a uni- mount. the wiring is only 3yrs old. The plow works fine with the headlights off. I turn on the lights and the plow motor hums and only the parking lights come on very dim. I replaced the solenoid last year. What should I check next? My connections seem to be good. Do I need to check relays and where do I find them? Thanks for any help

Check your ground wires for good connections.

Will have an orange/black ground wire from one of the small terminals on the motor relay over to the battery. Check it for corrosion, especially at the battery.

Second small ground is on the plow itself...will be a black/orange wire. Be sure it's good as well.

Same with the ground power cable between the battery and plow...
