When I see this light bar in Northern I had to have it , I hate plowing with blind spots at night ............. 4'-0 long with angled halogens for 180 coverage figured this would be great .

Now the tough part .... adding it the truck so it does not look like a pimple on a ducks ass .

This will be a new truck starting with a brand new 2011 Chev 3500 SRW on order ....... clean slate .

I have not fabricated or purchased a head board yet .

Anybody worked with anything similar would love to see some pics .

    Thanks

I saw an interesting idea the other day. The guy had a "backrack" that was hinged at the top, so that when not in use the lightbar folded to the back and was below cab height. If I see it again ill snap some pics for ya....

I guess after I'm finished searching the internet as to where to find the product, I need to refresh the thread before I post my findings. :)

I would somehow mount it to a back rack. I think it would look just fine.

That sounds cool, I use my truck for many other things and being able to fold that baby down and away so it appears nothing is there...well that is something I would love to have.

This truck is a members on here. I just got it off Google.

I think it would look good on a Back Rack.

Honestly I didn't think about that when I did the picture...It is indeed 48 inches long. We need a member that has a Back Rack to give a measurement of inbetween the two post.

Bummer...Those racks are smaller than I thought...Maybe he can fabricate a mount for it.

Thanks for the feed back , the light bar on the members truck by C&T looks the same configuration but is a smaller version . Looks good though .

I have not been able to find a rack that will work with the 48" light bar ....... thinking of going now with a "Top Gun" rack configuration which has lights built in .

I can put the 48" bar on the front of my Kubota loader .
