Greetings from the rust belt of America! When it comes to snow we're not even in the same league as you guys up north but it snows just enough here that we still have to be prepared. We started doing all our dump truck assembly in-house a few years ago. We start with a bare cab & chassis and go from there. This is one of our latest efforts. It is a 2006 International 7300 with a 255 HP DT466, Allison 3500RDS, powder coated Galion 304 stainless dump body, Flink plow, GoodRoads under-tailgate spreader, Parker hydraulics and controls. The big stainless box on the right side is a calcium tank and also houses the calcium pumping system. The big stainless box on the left is the hydraulic tank and also houses the main hydraulic valve.

These are some shots of the hydraulic plumbing inside the valve cabinet/hydraulic tank and under the bed. Virtually all of the tubing, hose ends, adapter fittings, and quick disconnects are stainless steel. All that pretty stainless tubing is bent and flared in our shop. Kinda looks like something in a diary!

Some pictures of the controls in the cab. We attempt to integrate everything into the existing landscape of the dash as cleanly as possible. In these shots you can see the Parker control unit for the major hydraulic functions and the Parker iQan unit for programing the granular and liquid application rates. The gauge in the lower right corner is a RoadWatch system that provides a digital readout of ambient air temperature and road surface temperature. The bank of switches above the radio is provided by International but can be custom programed as to their function.

These aren't the best pictures but these are a couple of shots of our plow light frame. We are quite proud of the fabrication efforts that went into this! If anyone is interested in more detailed pictures of any aspect of these trucks or have any questions or comments feel free to contact us via email at mcaton@lfucg.com
