Just wondering if any of you have installed a leveling kit ( 2" ) on a 2009 SD, I installed one on my 2007 and it leveled it out perfect.

I see the same kit for sale for 2009's but my truck seems pretty level now...is it needed ?

If it's level you don't need it....unless you want to lift the rear of the truck as well.

    Was your 2007 a F-350?

Yeah 2007 was a 350 and the 2-1/2 lift in the front made it perfect.

I just keep seeing the leveling kit offered for the new superduties and can't seem to figure why, looks a lot more level than the 07 from the factory.

    Thanks for the reply !

I think the 250's have smaller rear blocks than the 350's, so that might make your 09 look more level.

Yep, the F-250 rear block is approx 2" tall while the F-350 block is approx 3 5/8" tall.

I put F-250 rear blocks in my F-350 to level it out by lowering the rear of the truck vs. lifting the front. :D

I see...I see, thanks for the info guys. So with what you've said I need to do nothing at this point, I'm cool with that.

I had the opposite issue. My 250 was dead level with the plow prep front springs which was fine unloaded. But, when I put any load in the bed or towed, the nose was skyward. I swapped out the 2" blocks for F350 4" blocks and problem solved. Anyone need some 250 blocks, PM me. You can have them cheap.

I have 06 F250 and 09F250 both gas both to seem to squat on the back end empty. Any one else notice this?
