In the spirit of the bid season that is upon us. I figured we could all play a game. The lot we will bid on is an apt. complex. It has 8 buildings. Roughly 3,000 linear ft of standard walks (3'wide) It would be a "C" lot in terms of difficulty due to speed bumps and it being chopped up so to speak. It is 3.7 acres total sq footage. Now you won't plow all of that due to cars parked etc. What is your seasonal price based on 39'' of snow. What is your pricing based on YOUR costs? :waving:

will we be able to hire subs, hold them responsible for everything, give them a 39 page contract, and then not pay them for non performance

I have never bid a snow plowing job. I would prob bid 800 every time I had to clear the snow. This game blows.

What would be more vital information?
The average amount of snow you get it a year or the average # of plowable events?

    Is everyone scared?

Well instead of being a smart guy about "playing a game" just ask that you need help in bidding. We're all big boys here

I'll play your game & think I can make it a bit better.
    Here are the specs:
Here is the lot everyone is bidding on, green is only places stacking is allowed, customer wants 2" plow trigger & 1" trigger for walks, which lets say ther is 500'x 4' wide. Salt for lot & walks included
Customer wants a per visit & unlimited seasonal price.
Weather in your city is an average of 20 plows & 30 salts with 70" of snow per year. Also lets say you got a few smaller lots within 1/2mile of this lot.

FYI this lot is a random lot I found in a random city(fernie, bc) this is purley for entertainment. Price it on whatever equipment you want to use.
