Leaking around the ram ???

    Here is my question, I have fluid leaking from around my ram shaft, what would make this happen? I was told to replace my wiper seal, Is this the problem.........Thanks

    Yes. If you pop off the top cap, there is a round o ring wiper on the shaft that probably needs replaced. Also there is a shaft seal in the cap itself on top. If you look at an exploded view of it, you'll see what I'm talking about. If you replace these two items, it'll take care of your leak. Good Luck!!
