I seen Erie is getting some snow along with other areas. Hope JA is making some coin!:D Those of us that live away from the Great Lakes don't have too much longer to wait, either!

While the lake machine is up I am not sure that anyone is plowing yet. It may be snowing but I doubt it is very heavy and the temps still look a little high to me. It shows that it will be coming on pretty soon though.

I've already told them around here that I won't get excited about the first one. I doubt that I'll even try to plow it. Just wait for it to melt, then for the ground to freeze. Last year I plowed the first snow because of the new plow I got but wound up plowing more dirt and gravel than snow.

It would not surprise me. I just know what I heard on TV.

When I spoke to the main office in Erie today, everyone was out plowing.

We plowed all day Friday, Friday night and early Saturday morning.

Unfortunately, I was in Aruba that day.....

Excuse me?!?!?! Did you just say... "Unfortunately, I was in Aruba that day"??? Since when did it become unfortunate to be in Aruba? John... I wish I had your problems. LOL!!!

Hope you had a good time.

Come on guys, go easy on John.
I am sure he wasn't just goofing off. He must have had some consulting to do. ;) From what I hear, it is very difficult to find anyone capable of plowing snow in Aruba.

If he doesn't come back with a signed contract to plow snow, he will just have to try drumming up business in Jamaica.

    Such abuse....

I was NOT working. However, I did call into the office Friday just to be sure that all was well.

We got 6" total between early Friday morning and Saturday morning.

And, I'm peeling big time..... (anyone feel bad for me??)

Truthfully ??? Yes... you're right.... but the nice thing about snows like those is that nothing really goes wrong. Smooth sailing, money making, nothing breaking type snowfall.

Also woke some people up..... lollygaggers sending in signed quotes left and right. Now WE get to choose.....

I would think it would be a good way to tune up equipment and to test any plans at new accounts. Gives you a chance to make adjustments before the big snows start.

I guess your lollygaggers are earlier then ours. I have a Nov 15 deadline but almost all are in at this time.
