After two rain events in less then a week, the temperature was finally mild enough that we spread serious salt and then went to work removing all the ice and hard pack. Lucky for us this was the worst section, we have 16 miles of these paths to do.http://youtu.be/WFC8zvDqECI

I've been scraping a lot around here too. I had been using a 12' muni plow on the front of my loader and that was working great until I broke the frame. Just too much leverage on a weak spot I think. Now I'm using the skid steer and that's working out okay but nothing like the loader.

Looks like your setup was working well. Good luck up there.

I've been hearing good things about the Kubota skidsteers, Paul. How many hours do you have on yours?

We used our loader with a dirt bucket and that worked very well, the only thing is that in most places the trees are to over grown so it would not fit.
Just over 700 hrs, Ryerson keeps saying its the way to go, no regrets.

My uncle rented one to fill in around some frost walls and it looked like a really nice machine and it worked wicked good.

Is that a walk path you were working on? Looks like a great machine.

I didn't know Kubota made skid steers. Looks like a nice loader.

    Sometimes it is. Thumbs Up

I have yet to find a back up buzzer I like. It also has a great backup camera, no more sore necks working in this one.

It has mostly been used in the construction side of the business.
Check out our facebook page there are tons of pictures and vids of it working hard. https://www.facebook.com/#!/VanderzonDeneigementExcavation

I ran one of west Mich. Kubota svl 75s this past summer for a week straight. It had like 10 hours on it when we picked it up so it wasn't run into the ground being a rental. Awesome roomy cab, great rear visibility. Plenty of power. It ran out great. If you get a chance rent one. They are awesome machines.
