    Winter Storm Update!

Well here it comes from KC!

WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH
    MONDAY EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL HAS
ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY
    EVENING THROUGH MONDAY EVENING.

    * LOCATION...WILL BE FROM EAST CENTRAL KANSAS INTO WEST CENTRAL AND
CENTRAL MISSOURI...MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM KANSAS
    CITY TO MOBERLY MISSOURI.

    * TIMING...THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BE INCREASING ACROSS EAST CENTRAL
KANSAS AND WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI SUNDAY EVENING...SPREADING EAST
INTO CENTRAL MISSOURI SUNDAY NIGHT. ON MONDAY ANOTHER ROUND OF
HEAVIER SNOW IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THIS SAME AREA.

    * TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ALTHOUGH THERE IS UNCERTAINTY ON THE
EXACT SNOW AMOUNTS...WITH SUCH A LONG LIVED SNOW EVENT...THE
POTENTIAL WILL BE THERE FOR SNOW AMOUNTS WELL IN EXCESS OF 6
    INCHES.

    * IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL LIKELY BECOME EXTREMELY DIFFICULT WITH SUCH
HEAVY SNOW AMOUNTS CREATING SNOW PACKED ROADWAYS. WINDS INCREASING
OUT OF THE NORTH FOR A TIME MONDAY AFTERNOON AND MONDAY EVENING MAY
ALSO CAUSE DRIFTING OF THE SNOW

Kaw Valley will be open the entire storm!

My company is based out of Topeka, but we also do work in Lawrence(lawn maintenance).
All of our snow removal is in Topeka. 75% of it is on the Wanamaker strip between 29th & 17th Street. With the exception of a few small properties everything else is around the new eastside development and Rockfire.
