    Have a 99 K1500 4x4 xcab... need help...

    Got a Fisher Speedcast from a 92 K2500 4x4 will it work on the 99 K1500?\\

    also

The 99 K1500 has heavy duty front springs but standard shocks. Should shocks be upgraded - to what type?

    Thanks

    Edzo

Is you '99 the old body style? If so, your Speedcast head gear will fit. What size is the plow?

Yes - Old body style... How about shock upgrades..? Other considerations?

Not planning on doing parking lots - just driveway work...

I'd recommend a good set of aftermarket shocks like Bilstien or KYB's, and a set of Timbrens for the front and maybe a few turn's on the torsion bars.Don't forget to add a couple hundred pound's of ballast in the rear too. Should do just fine then.
