Figured since its now November and i had a day off i might as well pull the plow out, clean it up and check it out to make sure everythings working good. I took some cool pics of it buried in the weeds but for some reason they didnt save on the camera, oh well. It was pretty cool you could barely see the plow, the weeds were up to the headlights. Luckily everything worked perfect! Only thing was, I was down about a qt of hydro fluid.

heres some pics after i cleaned it. I used a whole can of Fluid Film on this baby. If only i used a whole can on just the cutting edge i could be like grandview!
Check out the trip springs, they were all rusty when i put it away in the spring and loaded it them up with fluid film...after sitting all summer the rust is still not back and they look like new! (almost)

Wow, I never realized how complicated their spring tensioning mechanism was. :dizzy:

Truck and plow look good though

    Thanks.

Its not complicated at all. one bolt on each side tensions both springs.
