New to me large account tried my company this past season. They gave us a few nice compliments during the season. I just signed a 3 year contract with them today. Its a good feeling knowing that I've got one signed for 3 years and a qualified crew that will take care of them.

Thats enough to keep one crew busy .... now I've gotta knock on a few more doors!

Bidding is such a PITA but a necessary evil I guess.....

Congrats! I wish I could get my accounts to sign multi-year contracts. I'd be willing to do 3 years with all but one of them.

On a side note.... Camden, how's that SnowEx you got from me working?

It worked great right up until a lady rear ended me last year. She smashed it beyond repair so her insurance company bought me a new one. I sold yours for parts to another user on this site.

I'm in the market for a 1575 or 1875 if you know anyone selling.

Hurry up with that school contract. We've got school and municipal contracts for mowing, and they've been a BEAR to renew without going to to bid this year. Everyone trying to cut costs.

Well, I'm trying to get in on mowing this year. After that's done, I'll go for the snow contract.

It's peace of mind to land a multi year deal. Takes the pressure off in the fall also. Congrats.

Congrats--I think we're going to be seeing more of this trend after this season and the lowballer's lesson.

    I say--bring it on. :D

Bidding next year might be worse. All the new guys just remember 8 storms, one large this past winter. They forget the several big storms last year, or the 23 storms two years ago.
