Thank-you for the reply. The plow bangs to the right when asked to go left, but will go left and plow. All other functions appear fine. Have the hydraulic unit off and solenoids out. Plan to replace all washers and back up spacers. Removed reliefs, cross overs and poppets to check for any contamination. When reassembled it initially functioned properly and then began to bang right before going left.Solenoids react properly when hooked to 12volt current. All seem to have the .007 movement required. There was one spacer on solenoid cartridge valve S-1 missing. This valve controls the lowering operation.which works fine.S-2 operates right/left angle. S-3 is raise/left. Could the problem be in S-3 which seems to function properly on a bench test?

dieselss: Thank-you for the correction. On occasion, last winter the plow would bang left and not go right upon demand. I have a cabcommand hand-held control. All equipment is 2001 issue. Kept well. The most prevalent malfunction is the banging to left when right is demanded. It will go to right two or three times before responding properly. If this is a symptom that occurs from time to time with this FloStat unit I would like to know if you have encountered it before and familiar with a fix. Thanks again for your time.

Hand helds are known to go out. Pressing left and it going right kinda sounds like it's going out. If you could get another controller to try that would help.
