    What wrong with transmission? broke gear?

    Blew the torque converter and sent aluminum through the hydralics into the rearend. $12,000. in parts later its back on the road and not being rented out.

    wow looks like alot of work did you have to take the cab off to do the job? definatly nice to have a garage to strip it down and work on it.

    That right there is what scares me about buying a used payloader. Up here a dealer re/re tranny is close to $25K, rebuilt of course. But $25k omg.
