It's Snowing

    Woke up this morning, looked out the window and saw this. We have a few weeks before it really starts sticking to the pavement though.

    That storm hit us a few days ago. It dumped over 3' on Wolf Creek Pass. The ski resort has opened today. It's the earliest opening on record for that hill.

    I'm in Durango. Wolf Creek Pass and Wolf Creek Ski Area are about 65 miles East of here. They consistently get over 400" of precip. annually and at 9,500'+ in elevation.

    Just north of Colorado Springs, CO. We ended up with about 5" on the grass and had to push most of our sidewalks. Wasn't cold enough for much snow to stick to the asphalt.
