It common for brake pedal to be worn out?

    It 95 F250 with 85K miles. Before that it was Commercial plow truck for 15 years.

    I been notice that brake light aren't lite until you push on brake pedal little more.


    I look under to see brake pedal. Where brake light switch mount on are turn to be BIG oval not hole anymore.



    Isn't that common for plow and city truck that see tons of stop?

    I see but have you replace them before?

    Forgot to say that our rusty ROT 01 F250 been replaced with 2011 F250 6.7L diesel.

    Hey Mills I had the same thing happen on my old plow truck. I replaced the brake switch & it solve dall my problems. It is an easy repair.
