is this right?

    i was looking at the front axle rating on my F350 dump and it is only 3565 # thats lighter than on my half ton pickup. i havent found another with that light of an axle so im wondering if this might be a mistake. i bought it used so i dont have any paper work for it. with that axle im only 150# from beieng overwieght empty. (went on a scale today).

    Is this 2wd??? You need to find out more info on this truck!!!! That does seem really light for a 350. My 2500 front axle is rated 4500

    Just checked the rating on the sticker inside the door of my 93 F150 4x4 & its has: Front GAWR: 3275 LB.
    I can't believe your F350 would only be 290 lbs more than a F150, Has to be a mistake!
    If it is correct, HMM, you could have one more adult in the truck than I can?

    I got 4800# GFAW on my F-350 and on my old F-250 it was 4600#

    the 99-04 F 250's and f 350's had a front axle rating of 5200 lbs. you could get different spring ratings depending on the packages you got, any where from 4800-6000 lbs. the newer trucks i have no idea. i do know that they are higher though.
