    I am looking at a 1991 K-2500 (8 Lug Wheels) 350 Automatic (3 K On Transmission) Truck has 159,000 miles on it
Includes an older Western V-Plow (Before they were Uni Mount style so the lights stay on the truck)
The plow lifts up and down but the one wing will go out and not retract for some reason. Body of the truck is decent with only very minor rust.

He is asking $2400.00 for the truck and plow combo...

Is this worth buying not knowing what is wrong with the plow? Is it worth $2400.00?

Before you buy. Will you able find old parts for V plow?

Check frame and front suspension to make sure it not broke before.

That seem sightly high price I would offer $2,000

I spoke with the Western dealer here and they can still get parts and work on the plow so that really wasn't too much of an issue to me

Offer him $1800 and go from there... Have some ammo (reasonings) for your low offer. Tell him that it is going to take some time and money to fix the plow.. Pick the truck apart a little bit in front of him and make it seem like you aren't extremely interested... It's always worked for me... GOODLUCK

Where can you buy a complete set up plow for $100?

In most areas of the country you can get more than $100 for a scrap plow.

at one junkyard they are in good shape plus need paint then it work great. They told me they didn't sell that lot that why it was cheap plus I have see 1 on F350 it been there for 4 months no one want that plow I think it too big in my opinion.

But crackhead on craiglist think it worth $500 for worse shape than my $100 plow with mount plus hydraulic pump on it.

I say it not scrap plow just sightly bent plus no rust hole or broke.

i bought a 1990 chevy with a boss V for $700 because the guy didnt know he needed the return spring to bring the blade back in. i bought it hooked up the spring, replaced all fluids and the thing still works great to this day.

how does the saying go.... stupid people do stupid things but smart people out smart each other.

Toss out the thought of the plow, how much do you figure the truck is worth? I'd say without knowing anymore about it, that its worth a solid 2k. Just depends how clean bla bla things add up fast if it needs any work. So if you figure the trucks worth around 2k then you add on the plow sounds like you are ballpark in my mind!

i have no idea what its worth.

depends on what the truck needs for work.
check it out carefully, could be more than 2k wrong with it.
