Take a look on www.kbb.com or edmonds.com and compare there. You should be able to find the dealer price, knock 4-7% down, then work the rebates down from there. On a 2006 they should have good financing too. Then go after market for rust proofing - it's a third the price and if you do long term warranty they'll hit you for 2,300. Tell them you found it for 1,700 and make 'em do better.

23,000 isnt too bad. But im sure they could cut a little more off the price seeing as the the 07's will be coming out. Offer them 21,500 and have them take it from there. One of the smaller dealers around me sold out of all their 06s and wont be restocking their trucks until they can get the 07s.

He is down to $21,488. Sounds like a deal I shouldn't refuse. All I would need to add is a bedliner and a plow. Am I a fool to let this pass by?

That is around $10,000 less then you could get one for in Ontario. I would look at a spray in bedliner before I got a plastic one.

Going with that price...that leaves you roughly around $23,000 out the door (tax, title, reg.) I would see if they could do somewhere around $22,000 out the door. Dont get me wrong, thats a hell of a price he gave you. If you need a truck, jump on it. What state are you in?
