i just finished installing a 95 engine in my 94 pickup 5.8l gas job

all was the same, when trying to start i have no spark

my battery is weak but still ok

ive double checked all my connections, wirebrushed my ground straps

sandblasted my engine wiring harness connector, is a 95 harness different than a 94?

i am thinking maybe some pins are backwards?

It should be all the same. Check for juice to the coil with a multi-meter.

Everything is the same, id say you have something else wrong, double check all your connections, and make sure your getting power at the coil.
