i feel like the season is coming to an end. no special reason why, just the 'gut' feeling.

or maybe i just cannot wait to get out there and replace sprinkler heads. or get wet trying.

    what do you all think.

For weeks I've been having dreams of snowplowing. I don't mean daydreams, I mean dreams while I've slept. This morning I woke up from dreaming about grass seed.

What should we make of this? Is this an omen? A subconcious harbinger of a spring season that's just around the corner?

(Before you, fellow PlowSite Member, and likely Lawnsite member as well think, "Grass seed? Seems perfectly natural to me, I dream about grass seed all the time...", remember this--I DON"T USE GRASS SEED!! I DIG DITCHES! I BURY NICE GREEN LAWNS UNDER TONS OF DIRT AND ROCKS! :realmad:

I'm just *so* confused.... )

It hasn't ended for me yet! We got approx 3" Friday morning and several of my accounts still wanted the lots cleaned up. Toward mid-day, the snow was nothing but slush. It was almost like dry-plowing in some parts. Oh well. Jake.

I think we are due for a little "nuisance" storm. Gut feeling is that the season is done.

I'm with you on that one, Ultimate Lawns. This season was a bust. thank goodness for the few seasonal contracts I had and the salting. they kept it from being a total dud, but a long way from what it could have been. We missed a lot of storms to the south of us this year.

I plowed March 28th last year so I am still very optomistic. Another 8 plows would be nice, We alwasy get one or more weeks in March that the skies let up on us. they also said all that cold air in Canada is showing no signs of going away.

Heck they are talking below zero temps for Monday.

    BRING IT ON!!!...................................2" at a time....LOL:D

3 more MONTHS of winter here!

60 miles SOUTH of here it dumped 44 inches on June 11, 2002:D (We only got a foot)

March and April are the snowiest months.

The last few months were a warmup.
