New guy here, I am going to ask about insurance.
I am new to plowing for money, have plenty of experience but none documented. I am going to plow this winter. I will be a subcontractor for a property management company. I will use my truck, my plow and be paid on a by hour basis. I Currently have a vehicle policy that includes business use. I am going to find out if this covers my truck and plow and property damage. But why would I need GL or anything else, that should be the management companies issue.

I guess the question is what is the industry standard for a subcontracted plow operator?

Because they will always come back to the person who touched the snow last.

And when you sue,you sue everybody and figure out who is responsible later.
