    Going to be installing a few straight blades with a buddy on site. Anyone have a break down of tools needed? not looking to bring my whole toolbox

    umm let me recall here

    your going to need standard wrenches
    1/4 inch socket rack dont or get the racthet
    wire cutters and strippers
    drill and bits
    incase you get angry, a bfh(big fukin hammer)
    crimpers
    jack (if your installing mount)
    testlight
    multimeter
    some one else will chime in im sure i forgot something but thoes are the esentials!

    I know for a Dodge mount you will need to drill a bit into the frame.......I think I went through (3) 3/4 drill bits drilling my frame.........I would suggest at least 2 of each bit the instructions call for.

    Don't forget, when installing plows you always need a few :drinkup:.

    Most Bolts on the current GM trucks are 3/4 inch bolts and 15/16 i believe is the larger sized ones. Don't forget the lock tight to put on all the bolts. a tape measure for when you are setting the push beam height.

    All the manuals are on line. You need to take your tool box. You'll need metric and standards. Don't forget the trim tools for disassembling under-hood and plastic components and the air saw for trimming plastics.

    Don't forget a hole saw for drilling through the firewall.

    Depends on the plow. snoway and DD products you can slip though a small hole some of the others:dizzy:

    A creeper as well as a couple of drift pins to help line things up.
