Identification of 1st gen 810

    I'm looking at buying a used 810 Plow. I found one, but want to indetify if it's the newer design as the first few years had some problems. how do I identify?

    810 old&new

    Earlier blzzard plows had two springs on the lift arm . one on each side . Also the first year 810 had the solonoid mounted on the pump . the light bar was held on by two bolts , the newer ones are held on by spring loded pins. good luck,

    The older plow had 2 cylinders on each side of the wings- look for 4 hoses per side. I wouldn't trade mine(2) for another plow. Even with some problems they are awsome plows.
