I think I have a bent a frame

    Took the plow out to clean and paint and this how how it sits on the new truck was on same truck just an 09 . Took it all apart and the flat metal under the a frame is Bowed is there a way to fix or just buy new . Thanks [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Take a look at the roll/ trip pin/hinge
    .
    I bet it's bent.

    Cutting edge looks straight. Is the rubber spacer missing on the a frame?

    No but it looks like the front of the a frame is hanging lower on the left then the right I'll take more pictures tomorrow

    Did you catch a curb or manhole on drivers side last season? I bet either the center hinge pin from moldboard to center quadrant or the a-frame quadrant is bent. Needs to be fixed or the drivers wing cutting edge will wear twice as fast.

    Looks and sounds like a bent or cracked A frame. Usually not to hard to see it. Good luck. Lots of time to fix still!

    Did you adjust your torsion bars if they you adjusted them that would do it to one side supposed to be higher than the other

    the trip/ roll hinge.
    Or a cracked center section.
    just an idea.....

    Your A frame is bent or cracked, very common. If you buy a new one or straighten your old one put 2 gussets on the top and it will help it from doing it again.

    At least we know its a easy swap. Maybe you drive to pickup the next one!
