Buy at least one new one complete, Price won't be muchmore than buying just the parts. Then at least you have a spare motor and hopper!

A new housing with motor, tranny, shaft, spinner is $900. I had to buy 1 last year. Worked out perfect having spares as I needed it later on.

Try Jim at Equipment Specialists, he's a sponsor here. I bought a tranny for my snow-ex from him last year much cheaper than I could get it locally and it arrived fast.

I can rebuild these transmissions as long as the shaft has not been destroyed when removing spinner and auger. The bearings are the only thing that goes bad and can be replaced for alot less then a new one, and work just like new.The 575 and 1075 use the same tranny.

One I had to cut the shaft to get the thing out the other one still has tranny mounted to it just took off inspection cove to try to free it up but no luck after two weeks of soaking in pb blaster

What is the basic cost to rebuild? How about rebuilding the motors?Have 2 transmissions and 4 motors. All are apart and no problems with the shafts on the transmissions.

If you have them for sale I would be interested in the transmissions if the shafts are good. The motors I have are fine just let me no what you would like to get for them and maybe we can work something out. Thanks
