I just want to know what I'm in for. I picked up a 8 foot Hiniker straight blade and I plan on mounting it and wiring it myself. I'm very competent under the hood of my truck, but I'd like to know if I might be in for any surprises. I'll be mounting it to a 2002 chevy 2500HD. Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated.

I've install them before it's not that hard to do at all, just fallow their instructions.

Lay out the wiring harness and think about where you want it to go.
    You'll will be fine.

    Sounds easy enough

I may have forgot to mention that I won't have instructions. At least not for the wiring. It's a used plow. I'm buying a new mounting bracket for my truck. Would that have the wiring instructions with it? I'll be taking all the original wiring off of a '91 Ford F-150. All I need is a different headlight harness and I should be ok I would think. Keep the help coming

For a manual drop Hiniker an e-mail, tell them you just bought the plow and need a manual. Some companies have them on their web sites also.
