Last night I got the crazy idea to turn into a member of the show Ax Men and cut down a dead tree in my back yard. So the g/f and I went at it cutting it down and removing the stump.

    Agree it look nice truck

It can be fun to pull but not with manual transmission they don't slip when under load that how I broke rear axle cost $300 to replace diff carrier on Ford 9.

    Is duramax stock or mod?

Not stock. Predator programmer set on 100HP, Suncoast Stage IV kit will Precision T/C, tie rod sleeves, transfer case brace and a few other things.

Your truck does look really nice. A little trick my dad showed me was when pulling something out is to shorten the chain a little after you dig holes that way your pulling downhill into your holes and sometimes it will give you that extra bit you need to get it out. Enough of my ramble.:D

    Good to know.

One thing I didn't even think of when doing this was to switch the truck to low range. That was all in 4 HI.

That not great thing to do with transmission for me I would use 4L. But I am sure Allison is heavy duty and survive abusive.

I actual watch video 5 times. I wish I have diesel it look fun to have black smoke out exhaust instead white with blue with gas engine.

So far they seem to be wearing well but I haven't had them on for even 5K miles yet.

While it's probably not good on the trans, mine is built with a kit that is good for up to 600HP.

Up here a couple of years ago some people would have pulled down the hydro towers in the background of your picture and just about got away with it.:jester:tymusic
