    2000 Chevy 3500 199K miles
    454 4L80E
    Curtis 8.5' plow
    Snow Ex tailgate spreader
New ball joints, inspection, front brakes and lines, HD aluminum wheels and Buckshot Mudders.

$4800 cash for everything. payup Not too bad of a deal, huh?

I'm not really crazy about the Curtis, but I'll give it a chance. The closest dealer is around 50 miles away. But for the price, I can't really complain much.

Not a "bad" truck, but I bet you could get it a little cheaper... You'll like the curtis. I had one and loved it. No problems with mine other than having to replace a hose.

Its not a bad deal at all but trucks like this are a dime a dozen. The 454 is a good motor too.

Looks like a good deal to me. Miles are high, but if the fluids are good, I wouldn't be worried about it. It will pay for itself a couple times in 1 winter.

I wouldn't get it with the Curtis and that's the only reason I wouldn't get it.....I'm not too impressed with mine.

I forgot to mention that the trans was rebuilt less than 3 yrs ago and only has 20K miles on it. I have no worries about the motor.

The tailgate and bumper are rusted and underneath the tailgate on the bed is starting to get a little surface rust, all thanks to the spreader.
I need to move to your area where trucks are cheap. I could clean this truck up a little, throw on a new tailgate and bumper, and pull a quick easy $8K out of it in my area.

Honestly, a truck like that in my area you couldn't get for under $10K. Be glad you don't live in my area. :)

Here is an example of my market. 99 1/2 ton with no plow.http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/1015007063.html

    Heres another. http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/985164380.html

Now yes you can find them cheaper, but thats the a couple of what I found on Craigslist at a quick glance. For my market. what I paid is a good deal. Different states differ a lot on pricing of many things, and usually PA is the worst whether buying new or used. I pay over $5 for a pack of smokes. I can drive 45 minutes go into Ohio and grab a pack for around $3.

If I wind up not liking the Curtis, it'll get either a Western or Hiniker V. Thanks for the comments guys and keep 'em coming.

I would look at frame in back. Seems like that salter did a job on rear bumper. So look at frame. But yeah seems a bit high.

The frame is solid. That was one of the 1st things I checked. Good looking out though. KBB price (for whatever that's worth:)) with no plow or spreader is 6900 for good condition, 6300 for fair. I paid $4800.
