I finally did enough work to pay for the salt I bought for an average year

Last night was only the second time we were out salting. After last night I figure at least the salt in my bin is paid for (no fuel, equipment expense, man hours...). Last year at this time I would have been refilling the bin. At this point in time it looks like this winter I will be taking a loss overall on snow removal. The good news is I might not have to buy salt next year:laughing: All you can do is laugh about it.

Im in the same boat, except I have made my money back on my salt yet. :(

Good thing is, as long it stays dry, it will still be good for next year.

I have my fingers crossed for a break even year! Zero events to date. Last 2 years were good so I can't complain. Thought I would try the old nationals trick and see if I could get an insurance rebate or credit, Ha Ha!
